As the mysterious ocean rolls closer

The rainbow and the swinging slide

The gaping sun tucking stars to bed
Glistening water flexing its muscles ahead
A mischievous breeze that toys around the sea
and through the casing of clothing touches me
I yearn for
A world where I can be me
A world where I can hear the church bells
A world where my passions have an answer
A world that does not block the sun for me
I wish the canvas was stark
And colours mine
A life
Which scorched, yes, but enlivened too.
I am still waiting
The gulls perch on the rocks
Mocking each other idly
The sea enraptures the body and the soul
But I don’t follow the rule of the sea
And move forward with all my might.
